A byte of philosophy:

There have always been some few true inventors, whose unstoppable energy made them true artists and they created werks of genuine complexity. But never before has there been more will to experiment with new methods or even a broader range of people who just invent new methods than today.

Das Neue Universum has arrived in a time which it always wished to take place in. A giant, uncontrollable playground of possibilities.

Yes, it is right to say that what we are facing today is a new universe. We are proud to be a part of it. And if you like, you can try to find us and enjoy our inventions.

It is also possible that one or two final recordings can appear which is just a nature of the new medium. We´re not standing against that. But it is not our fundamental intention to do something like that.

And all this being said, technology made things for us alot easier. So it is possible to bring some tiny and incredibly powerful toys anywhere and play around. What once was limited to a room has now become portable and is so much more powerful than the basic ancient instruments monkeys are still proud of todays that they are afraid to not centering their view on it like a religion. Listen up! Religion is death! Think about it. Religion has nothing to do with life. Just with death and decay, fear and pain, demons and hell, opression and war, murder and mutilation. Open your minds, put the old stuff to the archives and play, experiment, invent and explore.

This is a recommendation.

DAS NEUE UNIVERSUM are located in the 1990´s definition of artistical avantgarde and reflect influences such as ambient and electronic livingroom music. Influenced by acts like Cabaret Voltaire, Clock DVA, HILT, and countless more, they have now traveled into an area between minimal techno, industrial, acid house, ebm and electro-punk.

But since DAS NEUE UNIVERSUM refuses labels, that is as far as one gets with a description. Be prepared that the set might flip over to something entirely unexpected.

Currently, they are prepared to act in Berlin (see flyer) and surely soon after that, somewhere else. Usually this is very shortly announced, if it is, at all.
